Chris Kreeger describes the common injuries he sees in bicycle accidents, including road rash, broken bones and head, neck, back and spinal injuries. Some of these crashes are fatal. He suggests injured cyclists call an experienced attorney, ideally a fellow rider who understands what cyclists face with insurance companies.
Chris Kreeger on Common Bicycle Accident Injuries
If a motorist hits a cyclist, I usually see road rash, broken bones, head, neck, and back injuries, sometimes spinal injuries, and sometimes death. In those situations, I think the cyclist needs to reach out to an experienced attorney, preferably someone who is also a cyclist who can not only understand what that cyclist is going through but what that cyclist faces when they go up against the insurance companies.
